Steel, glass and concrete
Kiss a dark Georgia sky
Tall pretty buildings
Pleasing to my eye

Grit and elegance
Rough and fine
The jewel in the crown
Below the Mason Dixon line

Pouring rain
Each drop
Wet with history
Past, present and future
Washing something away
Making something grow
History such a beautiful thing
In the land of Scarlet O’Hara
The Land of “Daddy” King

Let it rain
Let it rain
Let it rain

Wash me into cosmopolitan euphoria
Yes
I’m digging the rain
Atlanta Georgia
