    Colin Powell Interview

Interesting comments from Colin Powell. Sometimes I wonder how he became a Republican.

    I found this very interesting...

The affects of Racism/White Supremacy. We're scared of ourselves. Well, some of us.

I wonder what "larger group" was he speaking of. smh

Did a black man or a white man write this? What is their fascination with us black men.Instead of focusing the institutionalized bigotry they put on our people around the world they focus on how we respond to it and operate within it instead, like lab rats.

I don't know if the person was Black or White. But, I was thinking similarly. I was thinking about the perception of Black men that was being portrayed in this article. None of them were really strong...and with a lot of hope. The lack of hope is very evident in this article.

I thought I'd post some of the interviews in this article to show what some people were saying. There is one I didn't post about the brotha from Howard University and his transition from a "Pro-Black" stance to one of enlightenment and yet he still considers himself to be "Pro-Black."

    Monetary,

VERY True, to make us look dependent of course, kinda like they do Afrika as a whole with the "G-8" comission(search G8 to find an article I posted about it that shows how much of a fallacy it is.

I skimmed over that part,it did not make much sense to me,the whole "enlightement" aspect, you enlighten yourself with your people, not other people and by "their" methods.

here it is along with my opinion Monetary:

What exactly is a "pro-black environment"? Is it like that is what they teach? All to often people (including some of our own) associate our acts and psycho-spiritual systems as being the direct opposite of that of the KKK and such, only with a black/AFrikan face. That is TOTALLY wrong. We have even been called "Black Supremacists" like we really want to take over and subjugate all other people in the world. What we (in my own mind) are concerned with is our TRUE LIBERATION, we do not control much in the world today, not even our own continent (Afrika,Australia, etc, etc, and in terms of economix and politics). We are just tryin to take care of ourselves by our own standards, methods, theories, ideologies, etc. I am proud of who I am and as a result I can associate myself with anyone of any background who does not have hatred for me or my people, my knowledge of self has told me that since I am proud of who I am, in aspects that I chose by my own standards) than I must respect others(different people,"races") whom would do so to me.

    refer to my above response.
