someplace dreams are made of
Occupation
student, advocate to change the world
as i lay
earth-funky
the day's laborious remains
scraped through my active mind

I lay stroking her head
she lay fast asleep in my lap
soon before stained by water thrown upon herself
showering herself

she lay--tired.

i lay--
contemplatory* in a sense
stroking her hair--
feeling her skin...
happily
even though

we lay

growing apart--
insecurities ring true
bell tolling in the pits of my heart
the rest is just to occur

we lay
knowing we might never again

i lay--
earth-funky
the days remains staining my face--
with the water i throw upon it--
from within myself...
..........showering
...............myself

thinking how life will be--

i lay--
quite confounded--
confused--
puzzled--

i lay knowing--
she doesn't love me.
