As I Enter

Smooth waves take me inward
I’m surrounded by your love
The parting of your sea holds many wonders
I’m touched by your spirit
Feeling it flutter
Like untried wings of newborn birds
So sweet the spasm

The entry continues
Deeper into your life
I make contact with your soul
It is here I find you
All of you
But still I reach
For the best of you

Lying just beyond
Sweet womanly doors
I’ll knock in pleasing rhythm
Knock until even you
Cannot control what you will do
I will knock and knock
And knock again
My entry complete
When you allow me
All the way in
