    are you afarid of the thunder ?

    and i mean verry Loud thunder.....

    Last night ....

    i heard a thunder ....that was soo loud ...
    it got trough my bones.....
    and i woke up...
    i cried also because i was soo scared..

    Normaly when you where young...
    you were afraid because of the loud sound..
    and if you had nice parents you could cralw in to their beds and they would hush you....

    i have not been scared so much as a kid ...
    somthimes...but when my parents explained me what it was ...i was calm under it..

    sinds i started to read more last 5 years in tHE BiBEl ..
    i readed that the thunder is like the voice of god....
    and that tht is the sound when he speaks..

    Now last night ...it was soo loud that i knew that other people..
    woke up to... i heard some laugh and others made that sound of ""wooeee wouu yeah"' like in a point of a football game..

    now why werent they scared....?

    is it because i have readed this and believe in this.....?

    and fear him ......

    or because it was soo loud and didnt fear him.....

    i feel and know i do fear him .
    he is mighty ..i fear him in and trough my walk....
    cause i know what he is capable of...
    the blankets where all over my head and i was shaking...
    and crying and at the same time he held me..

    was this a test....
    that he seeked through the hearts...

    They recognized his power. Their response was in awe as well. I pause when thunder and lighting happens. I often stay awake to see the flashes and hear the storm pass, after it has into the background I then go to sleep.

    First there is lighting, then thunder sounds travel thru the air to reach us from the lighting strike. Like busting air bubbles a sonic boom sound follows every lighting strike. Sometimes you get only rumble from the thunder.. it may be that lighting happened somewhere in the distance.

    ==============

    What is Lightning?

    The key ingredient that defines a thunderstorm is lightning. Since lightning creates thunder, a storm with lightning is called a thunderstorm. Lightning causes thunder. Therefore, anytime thunder can be heard, the danger of lightning is real, whether you can see it or not.

    Lightning is the visible vault of electrical ions from cloud to cloud, and cloud to earth. When storm clouds gather, violent air currents separate ever-present electrical charges. Lightning's compelling objective is to complete a path to the opposite charge in the cloud or earth. The path of a cloud to ground lightning strike is not completed by hitting the top of a house, building or tree, but must continue until it reaches earth. An object is struck because it is a better conductor than air and offers a better path to the ground. However, since the object struck is not an adequate conductor, heat is generated, resulting in fire or explosive damage.

    =======

    I looked this up, I wasn't sure, but from my experience with the storms of Missouri and they have some very violent ones.

    I have always believed this to be the case. Lighting does come, then thunder. So why do they say THUNDER and LIGHTING is it a reverse of terms on purpose?

    I'm not afraid of the thunder so much as I fear the One whose power is over the thunder, so I do become shaken by it. With it He can certainly shake men and women to their core, whether they believe it's He who does so or not.
