Are we mature enough to debate without losing our cool, and reducing the discussion to a personal ish?
Are we mature enough to debate without using foul language, name calling or slander.

Would we be proud to let our children or our students to see our posts and dialogues with those we disagree with?

that is th point the maturity to hold an honest debate face to face or as in a chat

even high school children are matureenough to do tha ithout slander, and personal acusations and attacks, but it is odd when men are focused on other men at this late hour rather then on the concernsof th Black community

there was a guy that used to say sorry I only have one lap, so why would 2 want to jump on it?

so, this call for maturity and self control and whatnot should apply to everyone
    except you?

And since you like my poetry so much.. try this one:
    when
    you
    say
    "we",
    do
    you
    mean
    just
    me?

    or
    you
    too?

as stated even high school and even junior high school children have the maturity to stand toe to toe and debate.

as for the internet the ony debate that can happen without juvenile emotionalism is in a chat or when both parties have the courage to be present wouldn't you agree?

so, we're just going to skip over the gross conflict between your conduct and
and the premise for this thread? The immature party is you. calling folks
transvestites and fat and bald.. and questioning folks manhood.. that's all you.

what you should do is write a post to yourself condemning yourself for your own
    behavior..

as far as chat goes.. why? for what? to what end? Why introduce the rhythm
of conversation into these discussions? right now you can take as much
time as you need to think about what you want to say.. you can carefully
arrange your words and preview and edit your comments... now, if you can't
come across as mature and relevant with all of those advantages, then what
hope is there for you in chat?..
