Black Spirituality Religion : ARE PREACHERS PIMPING US?

THERE ARE PREACHERS HERE IN ATLANTA WHO OWN BIG LUXURY CARS, EXTRAVAGANT HOMES, AND ONE EVEN OWNS HIS OWN HELICOPTER WHICH HE SOMETIMES USES TO TRAVEL TO SERMONS ( IF YOU LIVE IN ATLANTA, YOU KNOW WHO THESE PREACHERS ARE ). THEY HAVE THESE VERY NICE MATERIAL THINGS, WHICH THEY'VE ATTAINED THROUGH THE CHURCH. WHILE AT THE SAME TIME TELLING THEIR CONGREGATION THAT IT'S EVIL TO WORSHIP MATERIAL THINGS. ARE OUR CHURCHES JUST A PLACE OF BUSINESS? ARE THESE PREACHERS NO MORE THAN MEN WHO PIMP "THE WORD" IN ORDER TO GAIN PERSONAL WEALTH? OR DO YOU BUY INTO THE NOTION THAT THE "MESSAGE" IS THE ONLY THING THAT'S IMPORTANT?

The message is important, but it is also important who you hear it from lest the person preaching take and take, and give you nothing for life in return.

Material things aren't a matter, and for the Word of life, they cannot compare. A person should be willing to part with all things they have for the Word because the worth is immeasurable. However, the men who showcase these material possession are not giving the Word for the things they have; they are giving people imitation of what they've seen in truth and have heard. They are wolves in sheep's clothing, saying they hold close to the faith when in reality, they hold close to what corruptible things might be gained. Paul, the Apostle, even decided not to take from the congregations he built up because the Word was more important to him, and he knew many would say he was smooth talking people just to get free things. He showed, he would forsake what was his right to ask for just so the Word could prosper ever more. Many of the preachers these days would not be willing to do the same. Many are not willing to go without to show the Word lives in them so material things aren't needed or craved, but simply had.

Churches as of today have become businesses instead of homes for the righteous to dwell; however, there are a few congregations that remain truthful to being a family.
