Does anyone here use ginseng? Does it work?
And yes, it does work.
Don't be deceived into thinking that GINSENG and related herbs are some sort of "SUPER POTION"........Just like any nutrient, you must gradually incorporate it into your system, in a healthy, moderate manner for the results to be obtained.
I used to use it everyday, (gotta start doing that again) I would get the korean red ginseng from chinatown. Not the kind in a bottle but the actual root.
Sam is right, it has to be ingested over a period of time to reap it's medicinal benefits.
About how long does it take to kick in?
What are the medicinal benefits?
How long does it kick in? lol. There are few factors you must consider. Namely, how toxic the blood stream is, your rate of metabolism and how much of the root you actually use.
There are a number of different kinds of Ginseng
what does it do for you?
I used to use ginseng quite often but they stopped making the kind I like to take.
I used to go to GNC and buy the panax ginseng that came in the 1000mg capsules.
It was the most effective....for me atleast.
I used it for energy as well as to keep my immune system up.
But like many good products, they stopped stocking it on the shelves so I decided to take the Chinese and Korean ginsengs and had an allergic reaction to it and left it alone.
It's hard to find real genuinely effective ginseng.
i take some daily and i ain't dead yet (although some would dispute that).
