Ive done a couple of things in my lifetime, told a couple of lies to people I cared about, etc becuase I was (and still am to an extent) living in my ego. I wasnt concerned about the conseqeunces of my actions unless I got caught. And the thing is, I never did get caught...I got away with my stuff. I did not uphold the laws of Ma'at. But now, I know better...I know that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. And that what I put forth, I will have to deal either sooner or later, even if I didnt get caught. Wether it be this lifetime or 12 lifetimes later. I want to know, is there any way on a spiritual level that I can make amends for my misdeeds of the past. I have definitly got the lessons out of those experiences and now seek to lead a life in which Ma'at reigns . What yall think?

I think if you read this book 'Maat the 11 laws of God' you'd get a more sound perspective of how you should deal with the past actions your concerned about.

There are some who believe the effects of karma is a state of mind. In other words, if you believe in the cycle of cause and effect, it will most likely hit you. But if you don't, such doesn't exist.
If I may ask you, since you have never knowingly been affected by the laws of Maat, how do you know there is a price for your actions? What has lead you to this conclusion?

Becuz I intuit that the laws of Ma'at have always affect my life wether knowingly or unknowingly. I have to live by the universal laws of the universe just like everyone else, and if I live or act in inbalance of those laws, then balance must be stricken. I know outside of my perspective, this balancing act neither good nor evil, positive nor negative...but simply whatever it is in order to get that balance. This is what has led me to the conclusion that there would be a equal force somewehre down the line to counter act my initial force of the action. I also do know, that we do create our reality, and everything in existince is simply a thought manifested. So if I think and create a reality of punishment, then that is what it would be....and I dont want it to go that route. So Ill take the advice of a previous poster, and forgive myself, and move foward in Ma'at/
