Black People : Another Tactic to destroy a Race

I don't intend to offened any here but as someone who seldom posts, threads like these make us seems weak willed and sheep like. Its like we are surrounded by an invisible fence with an invisible hand who dictates our future.

I'm frankly fed up seeing threads like these. When are we gonna stop talking about the man holding us back and bla bla bla. What are you actively doing to get yourself ahead, never mind a whole race. Do you know how impossible this is. Posting in an internet forum is great grand and wonderful but if you aren't putting anything you say here into action then really, whats the point?

Make your concerns known, organize rallies, try to get noticed on a national scale not just post behind your little computer screen hoping thinga magically change. Do it like Malcom did.

As for me, yes I do experience suttle racism here and there but does it make me an an angry person who vents online in hope to get a bunch of "likes".....no. I just do what i have and try to get my family and myself ahead and not wallow in self pity or try to blame someone else.

I don't know if anything I wrote made sense to you but it did to me. I'm not trying to attack the OP or any one poster. I expect ppl to criticise my post and to disagree with me. I hope everyone has a nice day.

I just want to come in here and not see every second thread be about the man living rent free in our head. Can't we just talk about normal ****?

Can't we just talk about normal ****?

Can't say I totally disagree with what you have stated. It is your perspective/reality. I get the base of what you're saying. I think generally most Black/Afrikan people like/love Black/Afrikan people, and don't want to see Black/Afrikan people in pain.

I get what you're saying about the continual grind of threads like this. The only problem is our problem has never gone away just because you and your family are eating a little better now doesn't make it the same for everyone. We could talk normal **** as you say, but what is normal for you is normal for the rest of the world. I know I didn't have to say that, just stating a fact.

I don't intend to offened any here but as someone who seldom posts, threads like these make us seems weak willed and sheep like.
I don't disagree with your premise. So what you do is you make a thread where it won't make "us" seem like sheep.

No one is suggesting anger except you.

I just do what i have and try to get my family and myself ahead
What do you think the rest of the world is doing?

"Its a bad day,
Not a bad life"
Yes there are "bad" days so to speak, but in reality each day is great and it's a great life. Unfortunately not all people can realize that existence.

What ever goes on with "our" people will and can affect you and your family in some form or fashion.
It's great that your life is in "order" and racism doesn't affect you directly.

You apparently do not understand what this is. I'm not talking paranoia, I'm speaking on being alert and understanding your surroundings. co-don't-in-tell

I expect ppl to criticise my post and to disagree with me. I hope everyone has a nice day.
Again I don't disagree with your premise, there is truth to it. You have a nice day too, and post that thread that doesn't make us look like sheep when you get a chance. Now that you've gotten your life in order, maybe you could spread some jewels/pointers to help someone.

-Am I ignorant to ask what is the problem? I personally don't see problems, I see solutions, when I look at my own problems.

I don't disagree with your premise. So what you do is you make a thread where it won't make "us" seem like sheep.

-I get what you are saying but sometimes I would like to talk to another black person without race or the white man having something to do with our progression coming up at some point. I see how this can come off as ignorant, keep in mind I am not generalizing.

Yes there are "bad" days so to speak, but in reality each day is great and it's a great life. Unfortunately not all people can realize that existence.

-This is unfortunate

What ever goes on with "our" people will and can affect you and your family in some form or fashion.

-Sure when I work my *** off all day and I see someone who looks like me on the news for all the wrong reasons (which happens more then I like) it does affect me.

It's great that your life is in "order" and racism doesn't affect you directly.

-Forgive me but this is a bit on the assuming side. Why do you assume my life is in "order", how do you know racism doesn't affect me directly?

Again.

Thanks for criticizing my post in a civil manner.

What you wrote makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately, too many of us view the world in "black vs white", black vs everyone else, instead of focusing on our own faults and weaknesses, and our own need for self improvement.
