Former NBA and Georgia Tech basketball player JavarisCrittenton, who’s been charged with the shooting death of a 22-year-old woman, will turn himself in to authorities in Atlanta early Tuesday morning, his lawyer told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Crittenton will take a red-eye flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta, attorney Brian Steel said.
Javaris Crittenton, wanted for the shooting death of a woman in Atlanta, will turn himself in Tuesday morning.
"Mr. Crittenton wants to clear his name," Steel told the AJC. "He's innocent of the charges."
The FBI on Monday obtained a warrant for Crittenton’s arrest. Crittenton was also charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution—he left Atlanta, where the shooting occurred, to go to L.A.
The victim, Julian Jones, a mother of four, is not believed to be the intended target. At the time of the shooting,
