    so many black faces
    devoid of any truth
    or ingenuity
    or hope
    or integrity
    complaining and moaning
    never offering solutions
caught up by their own disillusionment
    clinging to the sugar tit
    of the so-called
    white corporate structure
    unable to differentiate between
    paying dues
    and
    kissing a@#.
    trampling over the pile
    of fellow
    scrambling ants
trying to grasp the same stale crumb of bread
    why not work together?
    instead we gossip
    & decimate the character
    of our brethren...
has no one noticed that this approach
    is fatally flawed,
    that is,
    we kill ourselves
    when we assassinate
    one another’s attempts
    to progress
    making our reality
    bleak and frustrating
what ever happened to the love?
    sustainment of one another
    & building upon our strengths?
we can’t continue to blame the
    proverbial white man
    for the present state
    of disenfranchisement
in which we currently exist -
    i am my brother’s keeper!
    through self determination
    and more importantly
    God’s grace
we can become more than a nation
of people living check to check.
we must be the best, not just competent,
    innovative, not just intelligent,
    determined, not just industrious,
    consciously living to perpetuate
    abundance & self-reliance
    should be the goal for
    this millennium’s
    displaced African
    in America-
    ain’t nothing wrong with
    an economic revolution!!!

    Displaced

speaks the truth about the situation. We have many so called liabilities that could be turned into assets, but we need to see what is for what it is or we'll be "misplaced." I'm with you on this one cuz nothin can be done alone. Conscious piece... can't be said enuf.

    Say IT!

I totally agree. 2 Much hatin and back stabbin goin around. We need to first love ourselves and then we can love one another. It works step by step and dealing with the real issues that plague of and cause us to act up in a rude and ignorant behavior. We need to stop believing the Hype if you must and start educating ourselves in our history and not let someone else tell us where we came from. We put ourselves in a black hole in many respects and we need to stop playing the blame game. And start owning up to responsibilities and taking the responsibility for our actions.
Anyways, I could go on and on. But I'll leave it at that.
    Nice poetry I might add.
    Thank you sis.
    For the read.
    Enjoyed it.
    Sincerely,
    Desert Storm
