This is becoming a disturbing trend. You give a so called black man , a college degree, a corporate job,and a corporate salry and they do the devils work....In this dudes words, "a liitle ole police shooting"(in reference to an unarmed black man murdered by pigs in cicinati... who needs the kkk?) weak minded blacks just are not cut out for the corporate world!!
    article below

This month’s Esquire Magazine features John Ridley’s "The Manifesto of Ascendancy for the Modern American ******." Ridley is a screenwriter (Three Kings, Undercover Brother), novelist and NPR commentator. His manifesto is an entirely unimaginative spin on Randall Kennedy/Chris Rock/Bill Cosby’s tired attack on (to use Rock and Ridley’s word) "*******." Ridley’s minor contribution is a description of a few days in 2001 in which Condi Rice and Colin Powell "ran our country". It should have been a proud moment for African Americans, Ridley asserts, but "******* ****** it up" by rioting in Cincinnati over a lil ole police shooting - thus distracting the nation’s attention from the good blacks.
Boring questions to ask include "Why did Esquire publish this mess?" and "Isn’t white supremacy at its most insidious when presumably intelligent people of color do its work?" Slightly more interesting would be a psycho-analysis of Ridley, who is occasionally (but not in this piece) a brilliant writer. And a really interesting question is "What is Spike Lee doing making a movie with this guy?" - about the LA riots, no less!

    Sad, isn't it.

Things like this only reinforce my ages-old agreement with a side-question that Brother Therious posed:
