What you yall think about Anita Baker?
I always loved her, grew up listening to her. She proved different, she has a thick voice that most would call masculine. Her new cd, i dont know. I bought it though, her classics are better. Peace
You know, I am starting to feel better as I listen to all the music that I used to listen to when I turned on the radio back in the early 90s. At that time, I did not know the differences between rap, r&b, soul, and such. Anyway, Anita was many of those who I listened to, and I found her to sound excellent.
Anita Baker has the type of voice (real not studio) that you listen to and get relaxed without even paying attention to the lyrics! I really wish she would have recorded more CDs when she 1st came out.
Right she has that thick voice..could lull you to sleep...does she have a greatest hits or best of anita cd out? Hmm..I wonder.
this sista was from the soul and very classic
her voice could carry you away at any point
i too wish she had drop more in her younger days
but she still one bad sista and soulful
when you speak of Anita Baker it's like talking about a goddess
love me some Bakerrrrrrrrrr!
I believe she does.
