There is a great amount of interest in this year’s presidential elections, as everybody seems to recognize that our next president has to be a lot better than George Bush. The Democrats are riding high with two groundbreaking candidates — a woman and an African-American — while the conservative Republicans are in a quandary about their party’s nod to a quasi-liberal maverick, John McCain.

Each candidate is carefully pandering to a smorgasbord of special-interest groups, ranging from gay, lesbian and transgender people to children of illegal immigrants to working mothers to evangelical Christians.

There is one group no one has recognized, and it is the group that will decide the election: the Angry White Man.

What do they have to be angry about?

Some may be confused why I posted this article... -or simply not interested.

I'll explain.

This article is gaining traction and I thought it would be interesting to dissect this from an Afrikan center. Trust that it is being forwarded to the inboxes of email to your white colleagues and neighbors. "Google-It" and you'll find dozens of hits from white bloggers(and their readers) co-signing this garbage.


What stands out to me other than the ironic statements like:

His common traits are that he isn't looking for anything from anyone — just the promise to be able to make his own way on a level playing field.​

-is the "inverted", back-handed racism. Meaning, I won't call you lazy, stupid, ignorant or worse. I'll just embellish qualities I've told myself I possess and then compare and contrast. For example...

Nobody like him drowned in Hurricane Katrina — he got his people together and got the hell out, then went back in to rescue those too helpless and stupid to help themselves...​

I'm not that numb not to know when I'm being slapped in the face! The piece is laced with micro-racism.

The following excerpt is particularly interesting.

When Al Sharpton comes on TV, leading some rally for reparations for slavery or some such nonsense, he bites his tongue and he remembers. ​

Bites his tongue remembering what, exactly?

This is the type of racism that very frustrating for me. Primarily, because it is over many of our heads. If the writer had used the word "******" he would have gotten our attention. (and of that Al Sharpton, of course) However, what he's done with this piece is he has struck a blow for white supremacy without any repercussions. The writer's attack is far worse that the latest round of public attacks Imus, Richards, or Dog the Bounty Hunter. This is a racist rant skillfully hidden inside an political editorial. An example of how "Angry White Men" are comforting themselves for their racist beliefs and practices.

Systemic Racism does NOT happen by mistake. It is not a spontaneous phenomenon. It is cultivated, nourished and maintained.

These white men may be suffering from amnesia, repressed guilt, shame, or ego-mania. -But anger?! Ha! That's rich!

Again, I ask. What the hell do they have to be angry about?

I have been talking about this for some time but folks here ain't hearing me so I stopped trying to make this point but white men are angry because they have an inferiority complex. The myth of "white supremacy" is being shattered. They are losing economic power. They are losing control of the white woman. The campaign of Hillary Clinton is polarizing the white man and the white woman. They are being split right down the middle. Ironically the white man is supporting Barack Obama because their ego is so strong that they rather have a "mulatto" as president rather than a ball-busting white woman. Racism is one thing but sexism is right at the core. Clinton knows this so she has to pander to the black and latino votes which means pandering to Black and Latino MEN.

The white conservative is the one most pissed off because the best he can come up with is an old *** war vet who straddles the fence of white liberalism. so the white conservative knows he has been defeated. just listen to michael reagan or bill bennett on the radio.

they are so pissed that here in texas early voting indicates that many white men will even cross over in the primaries to vote for obama rather than see hillary win the nomination in texas. in wisconsin tonight 70% of the republicans crossed over and voted for obama.


as far as white men go their chickens have come home to roost but them chickens ain't laying no golden eggs.

He remembers that he is 'free' to be an angry little krakkka, because it was the Ancestors of folk like sharpton that built infrastructure of the 'red, white and blue' itself---that he loves so dearly. Therefore, in his 'righteousness,' (as is also referred to in the article,) he knows that them Black Folk's just may be entitled to something after all.

The psychosis of the caucasian is always perplexing to consider, when WE consider that WE have been hisstorically obliged to reference such from behind 'sane-eyes.' (well, most of US.)

Don't worry though, he can blow as much 'steam' from those little ears as he may like.....but he still ain't no real man.
