Angola : Angola economic boom

Swahili language, is a Bantu language spoken by various ethnic groups that inhabit several large stretches of the Mozambique Channel coastline.

You want to split hairs...but I am not into debating...no wonder black folks have such a hard time..always majoring in minors. The rest of the world will go forward and we will still be nitpicking on small matters.

Tell me about it after you came nitpicking at me. Bantu is not a single language but a group of languages in the Niger-Congo linguistic family.

Angola is in south west Africa, not the Mozambican coast.

Many of my ancestors came from Congo And Angola and spoke Kikongo and Gola.

Bantu is a term Europeans use to describe what is one of the most culturally diverse groups in Africa.

I agree that language should not be a barrier but in reality it is. But that didn't stop the Soviets or Cubans from supporting Angola's independence movement which waged a successful armed struggle. The main barrier is ideological, as I stated before the MPLA government is a socialist state and ruled by a communist/Marxist-Leninist party. Many Black Americans supported the wrong side in Angola which makes many suspect. That is not and easy obstacle to overcome.

I got your message bro, look back and see what we have done to overcome many man made challenges, we came up with pidgin or broken english, creole, patois to communicate and deal with the language problems.
Our greatest option is no where but home in Afreeca....a new nation for Black Afreecans is really the solution....A new nation not under domination by any other nation or nations, where we organize our community according to our ability, creativity and capacity independently.

I think Africa desperately needs something like Dubai to make a mark in the tourism world. In Europe you have all the big capitals like Paris and London. In Asia you have Tokyo and Shangai and Hong Kong. America has New York and Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires. And the arab countriest have Dubai. I dont know, maybe im wrong, but i cannot think any african city that has that kind of status. Who knows, maybe the next boom will happen somewhere in Africa. It does not take a lot of time really, just look how fast Dubai grew in like a decade or less, very impresive.

I read a lot about what is going on in the world, i like to be informed. Recently i read about this tiny country in the west coast of Africa called Equatorial Guinea and it has big oil deposits, kind of like U.A.E. Maybe that is the place where there could be a boom in urban tourism, but i have read that the goverment is super corrupt and it is practically a dictatorship, so what im saying probably will never happen.

Go back to your history class, Africa do not need to copy, imitate or follow the foot of imitators to grow.
Europeans skip over their next door neighbour Africa to the far east to invest their money and you are coming here to tell us to imitate Dubai.
We are all not blind to the happenings in the world.....Tourism is how europeans disguise their intrusion into other peoples land, to spy it and later occupy it.

Yea Angola is booming, I lived there almost for a year last year in 2011, very rich beautiful welcoming country..I actually played professional sports there. Lived in Luanda. Portuguese is the main spoken language only in places like Huambo or eastern inter Angola you will hear African languages all the Angolans look down on the african languages although they do have it on TV. I could write a book about it

Angola is rich in oil, arable land, natural gas, resources of all type. It has the 16th largest argo potential in the world and 1650km coastline of beach aka tourist development. the population is 45% under 15 so very young it is a 100 billion dollar + economy and growing at 10% plus each year since 2002 after the civil war ended.

Although the MPLA is a liberation movement is has turn itself in to a business movement and it listens to money now more than anything although the hardline pan-african's have been sideline..if you want to do business there the elites control the economy and they don't share all the cake. Angolans the vast majority still live in squaller, while a rich clique of elites enjoy life..and i'm talking about Mansions,Ferrari's, $100 meals the good life.

I'm an African American I'M JUST giving the objective look. I love Angola and will probably move there in the future..if you decide to visit the Visa system is the worst in Africa very controlled..lf they don't know you...they will not let you in... unless they know you due to the war.

I will stop there hopefully somebody will reply
