Black Poetry : And We Said Nothing

It's probably not going to be that greatly because I'm just writing the first thing that comes to mind at the moment so bear with me...

Our conversations are always fill to the brim
Us acting up or just acting out
Or us crying about past loves and past sins
But for once, we said nothing
Nothing at all
And for some reason that was exactly what we both needed to hear

Our sillyness paused if only for a moment or two
And we listened to each other breathe
And let our minds digest our food for thought
In that fleeting moment your silence eased the pain I didn't know I have
Your dried my unshed tears before they could fall
And relief washed over me

And just that quickly, the moment passed and you spoke again
"That was nice"
Yeah, it was

seem like when silent comes about and then to hear again makes it all feel good
