I wonder what Mary thought those thousand years ago.
When she pondered her delivery without any place to go.
No room in the Inn, no blanket to warm him, they wrapped
him in swaddling cloth...basically rags, my heart sags, when
I think in a Manger where we know it stinks , with the animals
our King and Savior was born.
The Angels announced him , the Shepherds did seek him the
Wisemen did follow the Star.
Back then they traveled by ***, not a donkey, for they didn't
even have a car.
They travelled so far, the night was so bitter and cold.
But, Mary eyes glittered as she held up her Baby and
the Angels sang "Let us Behold..."
And his name shall be "Jesus" "Emmanuel", King of King and
Lord of Lords...no arguments over naming him after this one
and that one, his name was chosen before the foundation of
the world was laid...and so the decison was made...
And his name shall be "Wonderful", Excellent! So precious
that he has many names...from Jah, to Yaweh, they all are
the same...And so we know "What's in his name".
The power to heal the world full of sin, innumerable blessings
to bestow, no baby shower, no one knew the hour and they
said there was no room in the inn.
I wonder now if they knew a King was being born would they
have kicked their wealthiest patron in the barn?
But, he came as humbly and left the same...this man/God
"And what shall be his name"..."Deliverer"!
