To all of our Afrikan Ancestors we invoke and welcome your spirits into this place.To our Ancestors who created civilization, We your children promise to honor your memory. To our Ancestors who suffered through the Maafa (the Afrikan holocaust) and the unrighteous institutions of slavery racism segregation and oppression throughout this country and the world. We your children promise to honor your memory. We your children promise to reclaim our original God- consciousness that you brought forth into the world. We your children promise to eradicate the fear ignorance shame and self- hatred of our glorious Afrikan history. We your children promise to continue to fight for the total mental physical and spiritual liberation for all people of Afrikan descent. Great Ancestors we ask that you lead us through the darkness of ignorance with sacred light of wisdom. Great Ancestors we ask that you help us restore the sacred institutions of family and community and guide us toward a greater unity with one another. Great Ancestors we ask that you protect us from those that would prevent us from reaching and maintaining our rightful place on this earth. And in return your children will always praise you. Your children will always honor you. Your children always respect you. And we will forever remember you. To say that we say
