Am I worthy of you?
I try to be
A true light of my life
Often relighting the candle within me

As your day of birth grows near
I ponder the wishes you will make
and the hopes that I have
as I light the candles on your cake

You tend to make your wish so fast
barely allowing any wax to run down a candle
But my heart will melt plenty as you smile
and devour all the slices you can handle

I am in awe of the person you've become
the hurdles you've had to surmount
how hard you've worked, the many blessings
you've bestowed upon me, too numerous to count

You've grown to be so kind and dependable,
with a heart spun out of pure gold
Time has gone by so fast, I look up and there's
a young man that my eyes now behold

And so, you see, I want to be sure I'm worthy
of what you aim to be, and of all that you are
cheering and supportive of that drive, as you strive
for your own shining signature star

simply beautiful..watz..

"Am I worthy of you?
I try to be
A true light of my life
Often relighting the candle within me."
