An Ode To My Blackness…(Let It Not Be Confused…This Is A Tribute To The Complexion Abused).

At the edge of my night…
    I am perfect….

But the morning has not yet ended
    And the light reveals
    what I’m prevented to be

It is the darkness of my being
    that illuminates my reflection
    and gives life
    to the wondrous possibilities consumed
    by the dark void that
    is my skin..............

And the words that are built in to myself…
    Taken in by my essence
are the dreams from the minds of the great…and the deep…

creating the pools of thought…that plague my mind
and whisper the gift that is
    the God’s will in me

    the Shadows have come forth
to shine throughout the lightness of the world
and to reveal mishaps blinded by the whiteness
    of the obvious glow

    so that the shade
that still hides from the day
    will completely engulf it
    taking the hatred
and revolving the world in sea of knowledge

    Giving the plethora of tones
    that became known as one
    A title and radiance
    that will exceed the legacy
    of the pain and blood
    used to destroy it.

    It is the original….
    Given as a gift
    Stolen like a treasure
    but always genuine…
no matter the age of time

    It is from this
    this depth
    this greatness
    this history
    this consumption of my soul
    that makes my blackness…my darkness
    my night….
    so [email protected] perfect…

This was potent. Loving what some others crave, loving the will of our struggle, loving what is you. Guess you can tell, I'm loving this vibe.
