Black People : An argument for pescetarianism

question: where are some good places to go to get these wild fish that haven't been pumped with poison?

As far as I know, sardines aren't farmed so all sardines are 'wild'. It's easy for me to find wild salmon, I don't think I've ever seen wild tilapia or any other kind of wild seafood. If you have difficulty finding non-factory farmed seafood, green lentils are a good source of protein and iron. Flax and walnuts are a good source of ALA (an omega three fatty acid) but, again, ALA can't be efficiently converted into DHA or EPA.

They need their a** whipped...but they are desensitized and I know that!

Wow...my daughter is an animal lover and I will show this to her. I always said I want my own lil ranch or mini farm and my youngest daughter always said she wanted to be a vet.

Your love for life has to out weight the love for money!:skillet: they need to shut that farmer down.

I seen this video about two years ago. It was kinda shocking. I think chicken/cattle farmers and slaughterhouse workers could treat the animals more humanely. But after all, it is what it is. I eat meat and I don't fill guilty.

There is no such thing as proper etiquette between prey and predator in the animal kingdom.

From what i have learned from William Linz Wolcott, "The Metabolic Typing Diet", and Julia Ross, M.A., "The Diet Cure", the thorough research by both authors has shown me that is no such thing as a "one size--fits all" type of diet.

Contrary to popular belief, my body & health thrives on a low carb, high protein/fat diet. My blood pressure lowers, my waist line slims down, I have more energy, I sleep better, I have more stamina, I'm more alert and think more clearly. I digest eggs, poultry, and fish very well. Beef not so much so I avoid beef.

Besides, I have an allergic reaction to certain vegetables and grains. Fruits cause me to crash like caffeine. Fruit & vegetable juicing is even worst for me. Do I eat carbs? Yes, in the form of green leafy vegetables of all types.

Just because this is what works for me doesn't mean it will work for you. And what works for you ain't gonna work for me.

No, there isn't, just like there is no objective moral authority to tell us that it's wrong to kill and rape other human beings. As omnivores, eating meat is natural for us but so is compassion.

There's no objective reason why we shouldn't prey on other humans. Many people have a naive misconception that the species is the basic unit of natural selection, it is not. Evolution doesn't care about 'the good of the species'. Even classifying species is arbitrary since life on this planet is a continuum (we are distant cousins with chimps, baboons, kangaroos etc.)

Morality aside, you are wrong on this. More or less, what's unhealthy for me is also unhealthy for you. Some people can eat a nutritionally bankrupt diet and still be relatively healthy because of genetics, regular exercise, low-stress/positive attitude etc. but the diet itself is still unhealthy. If cocaine is harmful to my body, it's harmful to your body as well since we share our basic physiology. The reality is that the healthiest human diet is one that includes whole grain products, fruits/vegetables and certain lean meats (seafood is a good source of omega three fatty acids, insects are also a relatively low in saturated fat and high in protein) and avoids refined carbohydrates, refined sugar, refined salt, hydrogenated oil and excess saturated fat.

Meat is a health contradiction. On one hand, it is our only natural source of B12 and some omega three fatty acids, which we absolutely need, as well as many other vital nutrients. On the other hand, it also contains saturated fat which is harmful to our health and we don't need it (from food sources). Prehistoric humans didn't eat any where near as much meat as modern Westerners do.
