Was the Hummer the stick that broke the camel's back?

meaning if you remember it looked so good when times were "rolling"

now look how quick things turned and the backlash and now

i've been talking to alot of people out there and they tell me nobody's buying

anything. yes of course there are people out there money making

but there are ALOT who aren't

    desperate times for desperate measures

are you willing to drink your coffee without sugar?

    :?:

    :uhh:

remember that word change? well change is the one constant of the universe
transmutation if you may, but change is just that it is change

and a change we are witnessing

    bear witness fellow earth brethren

    :donttell:

the question is not whether we can do it or not (change)

the question is are we WILLING to do it (change)

I understand what you're saying but to keep it real, I haven't changed one single buying habit I had before this stuff jumped off. In fact, since I anticipated this for many years I sort of been moving on my own agenda anyway so as to not be infected by it. One can be in Amerikka but not of it and that's where I'm at with a semi bag packed, paper work ready and ticket in hand. Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it and Amerikka forgot about the Roman empire that was never conquered by an external enemy and yet fell in 500 years....is not Amerikka repeating her Roman sister?

    yes

    :donttell:
very much so kudos to you for having the foresight.

Romans never needed an outside enemy, just never realized there is a universal force called "ebb and flow" lol

the rise and fall is synonomous with universal thinking, you just hope you don't rise TOO HIGH so you DON'T FALL SO HARD

so how that works lol (for the eurocrats)

well we'll see how this goes

I think what happens is Change is good for some and bad for others, but nevertheless, it is Change.

As for the Hummer, this was simply another military tool passed down to the public to express their socio-economic status. I mean really - if an SUV was supposed to be used for carrying around sporting good and outdoor equipment, what is the purpose of buying this heavy vehicle if not for its intended purpose?

Just some things that I think about when it comes to things like this...

    and i contend that hummer

signified the climax and hence we are on the downside of a hyperbola
    in more ways than one

thank you for making my point

To be real with you, one of my even bigger problems with this vehicle is the fact that it is this vehicle and others like it that are responsible for the environmental conditions and energy status present today. From the minute I read that a Humvee takes up almost 3x as much gas as smaller vehicles, I began thinking...then I concluded that if you can get people to drop buying and driving around all these big vehicles, maybe there will not be such a bad energy crisis.

Perhaps this is why Sustainability initiatives are being stressed.

yes i feel you greatly brethren

    there is no energy crisis

the crisis is the fact that the powers that be won't give control up

with the right solar panels, if we captured the sun's energy between 12 noon and 1300 hours on any given day you would have enough energy to supply
the world for ONE YEAR, we could easily store energy for 40,000 years
easy, so the psuedo-crisis is there to create fear that there is
a lack of something and you/we pay dearly for it

this game is falling apart it's over i can see it now, i thought that
there was another way but there isn't the rules of the universe are clear
it's unfortunate that wars will have to be fought before people will let this reality (matrix) go
