Obama Warns Oil Spill Will Substantially Impact Economy

If containment efforts are successful, he said, it will take at least two more months for relief wells to be completed. Even after that, the president said Americans should be prepared for a substantial and ongoing economic impact.

Bush told us that after 9/11 we would have to give up some rights and priveleges, but the dude refused to testify, under other, alone , or in publc and did everything he and his administration could do to exacerbate the 9/11 investigation

Now after taking millions in lobbying, "look the other way" chedda from BP,
the White House is now telling us;
"We got some difficult days ahead due to the spill?":qqb019::qqb010:

It's amazing, but it seems like the oil "spill" (what a euphemism and understatement) is already falling lower on people's radars. They are now admitting that the spill is at least three and a half times the size of the Exxon Valdez catastrophe, and some against-the-fringe scientists have mapped the potential global impact, as the oil and dispersants travel in our waters internationally, from coast to coast, continent to continent.

Yes, it will clearly be economic, even if it's as low-scale as paying more for seafood at the grocery store (which is the most personal impact many of the 85th contigent will even care about). But it will certainly be much larger, economically, environmentally and spiritually.

there seems to be a clear and non conspiracy theory,
30 year
pattern of allowing disasters to happen and then profiting by
removing freedoms or actual profit!

True....I was thinking that wow, we will face some much deeper times ahead for sure.
