America is the Fall before Rome

America now looks like Rome before the fall of the Republic

PEG.png

Pascal-Emmanuel Gobry

... It's not just that history holds important lessons, it's that we live in a time built by dead men who preceded us, America is a constitutional republic. Its governing institutions were imagined and bequeathed to us by a number of men, and all those men studied the history of Greece and Rome, as did the philosophers and writers and statesmen they took inspiration from, and those that these men took inspiration from ...

The Lesson of 1998
When feminists provided cover for the President. And the effect it had on us all

... Earlier this week, Caitlin Flanagan picked at the source of this aversion in the Atlantic, and based on comments in response to that article, it’s possible many don’t know the story of 1998, when feminists un-ironically defended Bill Clinton’s “peccadillos” and **** shamed his accusers. It’s possible they don’t remember — or perhaps never had an opportunity to really understand — what feminists did in the 1990s to leave a generation of women alienated from any sort of female identity politics ...

Thanks for bringing this aberration to light Mr. C. There must be something in the air or the drinking water because in the last 3 years an awful lot of men of all colors, races and creeds seem to be showing their feminine side and many women seem to be getting rather tomboyish. Just my observation.

Its in the water Symbol of America ... We focus on this phenomenon in BAMN. Here are excerpts from chapter 4, The Reconstruction of Black Civilization, p. 59:

"...Not only do we have an epidemic of fluoride in the water supply, but due to a lot of different factors, our drinking water has an excess of estrogen and estrogen mimicking chemicals in it and in our bodies.

High levels of estrogen in a person will decrease their testosterone levels and vice versa ..."

... We don’t really need to teach our sons not to rape,” a mother — and lifelong Democrat and self-described feminist declared in a recent New York Times article. Her son was expelled from college after he was accused of sexual assault ...

Turning Maslow’s Hierarchy on Its Head
Most international development programs focus on base physiological needs like hunger and shelter. What if we appealed to higher-order desires?

... Perhaps surprisingly, we’ve found Facebook to be pretty popular in places such as rural Tanzania. In these same communities, “important” things like mobile financial services are often slower to catch on. It’s not because the financial products and services are bad — many are aimed squarely at real needs of low-income people ...

The challenges of poverty are incredibly complex, and the sector does a great job of analyzing the full breadth of these problems. But when it comes to solutions, we too often get stuck on the bottom rungs of Maslow’s ladder. Imagine what could happen if we were to consider a person’s basic physical needs while simultaneously taking into account the qualities that make us all human.
