THE SUPER TRUCK: A Mobile Experience
America I AM Across America, a traveling preview of the America I AM: The African American Imprint exhibition, will continue the nationwide tour it began last year to bring the exhibition’s inspirational message to the hearts of communities across the country.

America I AM Across America, contained in the massive container of an 18-wheel semi known as the SuperTruck, serves as a traveling microcosm of the exhibition. It supports the exhibition’s message through a multi-sensory experience complete with artifacts, text, video and music. As this mobile preview travels the country, visitors have the opportunity to leave their own “imprints” as video messages filmed in a customized mobile recording booth. These living imprints will become part of the exhibition with the potential to become the largest recorded oral history project in U.S. history. http://www.americaiam.org/Pages/SuperTruck.aspx
