Hi folks. I know that I don't always ask the typical questions that everyone else does and it may be annoying. But my questions are always honest and I really do appreciate everyone's opinion here.

Ok. So back in the day I used to be a huge anime fan. I would always watch it and try to collect DVDs and toys and other merchandise. I even started to admire Japanese culture. But then I found out how racist they are and it turned me off from anything Japanese related. I tried talking to other black anime fans about it but for some reason it bounces off of them. In fact some of them kinda became aggressive towards me for mentioning it. So am I the one being too sensitive here or is everyone else doing the right thing by not being bothered by Japan's racism?

Btw, I've heard it all before. Yes, I know I can't judge an entire race by a few people or few companies but it still feels like they're a bunch of racist jerks to me. Feel free to let me know if this is the dumbest thing you've read but please also try to add something relevent as well.

The white man taught them well.

I believe that Japan was a closed society until Thomas Jefferson sent the U.S Navy led by Admiral Perry to force Japan to open it's culture.

The white man is always meddling and messing with people...oh well.

    Not "confused"...just a little forgetful.

You will have to refresh my memory.

Anyway, what does that have to do with the white man forcing Japan's gates open and teaching them to be racist towards black people???

There's a reason for everything and that is the history.
