While somewhat taken aback by the assault
on the inalienable rights of Americans

I am not surprised by racists
who would like to incite a
    tumultuous race war

There are those who wish to turn back the clock
    daylight savings be damned

    way back
    to colored black
    negating laws to reenact

    across the tracks

    Am I blue
    due of that...

    when it is I ~
    who personifies
    the Source of rainbow hues
and sees the elephant in the room

as conspicuous to me in azure
as the spook there by the door

Make no mistake. If there is a race war in America, it will be started by whites, not blacks. "We" (and I use that term with a whole ton of salt, because I don't feel I am a part of my own "culture") are more scared than black people.

Look to the history. Yes there IS an assault on ALL our rights. More than anything, the dominant culture needs a scapegoat-- since time immemorial.

    Much respect.

Wassup, my brother from another mother.
Make NO mistake, His-story is no mystery to my people. FEAR is not an option. Peace.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors,
As I foretold you, were all spirits, and
Are melted into air, into thin air:
And like the baseless fabric of this vision,
The cloud-capp'd tow'rs, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve,
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff
As dreams are made on; and our little life
    Is rounded with a sleep.

    The Tempest Act 4, scene 1, 148–158 -
