    hi im new here, and i was just wondering about everyone's view on alternative religions, mostly pagan ones.

    alternative "religions" is what we had before organized religion

    I like your name Rowan! Ummm lets see, my view on "alternative" religions is that they are based mainly on earth based worship. Meaning that you honor the earth and nature and dieties. Usually the concept of a goddess instead of just a God is incorporated into worship. Ancestoral worship can be apart of this as well. From my knowledge, I don't know of any Pagan traditions or pagan named religions. Pagan religions are sometimes a mixture of earth based religions(usually ver heavy earth) and magick. I know of a lot of alternative religions... vodun, wicca, yoruba, kemetic, kabblah, santeria, candomble, I could go on and on.
