i live in TushKauLoosa Ali Baba or Tuscaloosa, Ala
Occupation
construction
I've felt the rage as i turned the page
eversince my first breath, step, and first birthday

my feet ache so while my head hangs low
like i've been here before and i'm ready to go

my legs are the roots of a petrified oak
my arms are like Booker's pulling back that cloak

I was built to last and made to grasp
any thought and create a rhyme

with rhythm, I give them ology no ism
place light in a prism and shine

they placed Mike in a prison wish I could get him
but, living means giving up time

so, I keep on diggin', workin', and whistlin'
sweat drippin' like needles from Pines

now, i'm sitting like Abraham for a century four-score
counting big head dead presidents like Mount Rushmore

Does the sprout cry for the Sycamore when it is cut
Timber, Tumble, Fall and Slumber like King Tut

I pet the Sphinx and head East with a true Heisman stance
Better yet Jerry West and with the stars I dance

I come back as cosmic energy lurking around statues
preserving that savory mystique that reaches out at you

This is eternity through a tree and it's rings
A province and it's Kings change with the weather

I don't budge in the storm who am I... guess
I watched two towers burn... Liberty or Death!
