If anyone is from Detroit and has some info regarding what community activists are doing, please post and how we from other states can help regarding this atrocity to our children

An injury to one Black is an injury to all!

Do follow the articles, via the two indies, i. e., the MICHIGAN CHRONICLE and the MICHIGAN CITIZEN, because even I can only give you a peep at what I/they/us/etc. are up against, and in more than just the Big D, my man...

Your a good brother but it would be gooderer of you to at least do a cut and paste since most outside of that state have no idea of what those papers are

    Chuck:

    Both indies have online/internet links...

    But no effort/no results...

And how else would've come across that NEW YORK anniversary issue etc.?

Folks are either merely airing an opinion-- or actually plan to do something--i. e., about the issues/problems/etc.--which some claim and say they're so concerned and worried about...

    So I'm just being candid:

    I'm not just another cynic...

No one individual can not hope or pray to be all things to all people!

All I've been hearing and reading?

    Yeah...

Lots of openly expressed anger and outrage...

    But...

No new rise of actual organizations, i. e,. whereas the grassroots could unite behind a commonly accepted agenda--aka plan of action--to actually do something collectively about the ongoing issues/problems/etc., to among other things--stem the outbreak of heartless/thoughtless/senseless acts of violence etc.

And--here-- a black middle class--aka the black haves--who either continue to bail-- and/or build their own black enclaves in parts of the city--who also remain silent--i. e., because of their own social and class biases ad naseum--who just give lip service to King Jr.s ideas etc.--though some fall into lockstep with whatever their political parties white bosses need or want them to believe too--etc.

So we're already a 'house divided against itself'!

Hence yet another personal commentary on what we're up against--here-while one also guesses that is true of more than just southeastern michigan!
