I saw it coming didn't need a warning
I felt it in my bones / the thunderstorm
was on it's way / the birds silenced themselves
to hear my fear my despair / bees sat on the
windowsill looking in at me as I sat on the edge
of the bed looking // at my reflection in the
pool at my feet where happiness used to bathe /
now it is enslaved by the ripples /
reactions of plunging tears from my ducts /
struck with a construct of "too much" life
on the brain / intoxicated with pain / I pick
up the phone / busy tone / then I check out
a poem by GA Sunshyne..........................
it was a "Yes, Please" piece and even though the
topic wasn't such I told the Lord "Yes, please"
lead me to pastures where my mind can graze on
endorphins and I can get high off of the Sunshyne/
and he did. Now after the rain had passed I sat
down to pen this piece because of the scribe
of a certain Georgia peach sweet as
honeydewpowderedsugar...
