Somewhere between paradise and diaster
Occupation
Teacher
I sit here looking at a blank screen
Wishing for some words so keen
But I am beyond all reason
I have lost my poet's season
My emotions are just to raw
From the sight i just saw
I want to let out a scream
For the splintered dream
Breakin but not quite broken
but its destruction is spoken
I sat with colleted tears
Not for the wasted years
but for lost this could be
For noone loves ya like me
I know her grass looks better
But it just wetter
Shining from her tears
Misery always seeks a friend
Her siren cry sucks you in
But I'll be within a shout
When she spews you out
Cause that's what friends do
Even when you put them through
Before it all we were friends first
And promised thru the worst
Although your actions are foul
I'm stickin with my sacred vow
I don't promise sun shine
Just that you still be mine
For I have invested to much
To throw it away for such
this too shall surely past
for we were built to last
