After the real change of adding a trillion dollars to Bush's foolish TARP bailout of corporate mis-managers and criminals.

After the real change of a new war in Pakistan and 40% more Blackwater type operators in Afghanistan, as well as 80,000 more troops since January

After the real change of trying to make it a law that everyone must line the pockets of the corrupt HMOs

After the real change of militarizing the public schools

After the real change of giving the foreign owned Federal Reserve, more power over US financial decisions

After the real change of putting more restrictions on citizen freedoms in the Patriot act as well as removal of certain privacies

would you re-elect president Obama, if all politicians had one year-only, terms of office, and if his father was white?

I wouldn't re-elect him or anyone in his family. Now as a wise man, ask me why....as if you don't know already. We are the most politically ignorant people on the planet....which of course does not apply to all of us.

Shouldn't the words 'real change' be in quotes?? By the way, his mother is/was white, so that aspect doesn't change.

One is never disappointed in expectation

After the real realization that the american government is truly powerless perhaps we will wake up

After the real realization that nothing of true change can come with regard to the "people" when the foundation was never for the people in the first place then perhaps we can re-discover our own power to create

I didn't vote for evil, and I never expected a powerless source to implement any changes

I don't feel any aggression or anger though because I didn't set myself up for those emotions

    Change begins within

Again, freedom is a state of mind

    With regard to politics:

I'm a lil weary with the statistics, and our interest in statistics

I'd like us to realize that we are more then statistics, more then democracy

Why waste any more time on things that care nothing for us

Really government is broken down into three categories, the executive (president) who "is" the "law", the legislature who "makes" the "law", and the judiciary who enforces the "law".. (this includes the police)

All that on the smallest level ain't working right, obviously, so why the particulars of color??

An honest look at his-story yields the truth that really the only color any of this is about is "green"

And not green meaning "peace", which is the interpretation of the graffiti artist, but green meaning go go go for money

their all liars, regardless of color, and we shouldn't follow liars period point blank.

    Come on Ankhr,

What was he supposed to do? erase the current situation and completely
redraw a new one from scratch? In less than a year? It's a
4 year term.. I didn't vote for Obama because he was black.. I voted for
him because he was right candidate.. So, if there were 1 year terms, yes I
would vote for him again, because it takes a longer view to handle these
problems that we face.. 4 years is not even enough time.. So, no, I wouldn't
change the President because he didn't wave a magic wand and change the
world in his first year. All that aside... what are you looking for the president
to actually do anyway? He's not the president of black folks.. He's the political
head of the system we have been fighting for hundreds of years... But he's a
good over-seer.. if ever their was one.. much better than bush.. and the
    soccer-mom-that-would-be-president Palin.

but .. that's all the stuff I'd say to anybody.. let me ask you this:

You've been around for a while.. did you ever ever imagine that their would
be a president of the United States with African blood in his veins? And if
you did, what did you imagine he would do different?
