Can anyone give me a link to the history behind African dance? I really would appreciate it that.

    Thank you,
    Whitney.

I just looked at Google.com and found some great websites about African Dance. I love Afrakan Dancing, I dance Guenea, Mali, Congo, and Senegal. My teachers are fabulous and happy to share everything about their Afrakan Dance culture with us. Afrakan dancing depends on the celebration and the purpose. We are blessed here in Boston to have these teachers among us. My dance community travels all over the country to Dance conferences and workshops. I am sure I can hook you into some teachers if you tell me where you live. Hotep, peace.
