This will be for Pre-K-8yrs of age.The website will have arts and crafts, hands on activites, parent /child activites that teach online. If you do not feel it would be of use to your child, then do not partake.I created many of the games, activities and lessons when I was teaching in the classroom, the kids loved it, so did the parents. Perhaps this will benifit the families that do not have the skills or knowledge to teach.Teaching involves more than just telling someone this person invented this or that..Good teachers create interactive hands on games and activities to help students understand and learn. Children also benifit because they have increased self esteem, better communication with parents and improvment in grades.

We have teachers/scholars here and, hopefully, some that can help me to identify quality resources/information about, not just African-American history but African history for students being home schooled in grades 8 and above.

I am open for suggested reading materials, movies, etc. and thank everyone in advance that contribute ideas.
