Gazing at you from a distance now,
After so long a trail of time of –
    Indescribable, inexplicable, unruly and unbreakable
    Closeness.
    How you birthed and nurtured,
    Then moulded and honed,
    At times with stern determination
But always, always – with that healing, boundless Love
    Me, and those before me…

    Curious, Lady –
How you simply glow with every ray of sun
Dancing on and off your flawless skin of gold,
    From Sahara to Kalahari…
Your marvellous wildness, its on the tongue of every stranger,
They speak: (Mosadi yo o borai jwang) That woman, she’s so dangerous
And explore you, why they simply must,
But know your heart and soul like I do?
Child of your soil, seed of your Holy Grail?
    Me, and those before me…

Shhhh, To me and those before Me
    Yes ......................
The son of the soil, Barack Obama
    Africa......
Life you have given to the mighty and the powerful
Life you have given to the not so fortunate
Always, have you been just and loving
Women and men of the sun
Life you have given through the pains
The sons and daughters of the soil
    Bana ba mmala wa Sebilo
    Chocolate brown is the colour?.
Some call your children people of colour

Forget the wars, famine, and drought
Forget, HIV, negative publicity and instability
You have given us identity, a sense of belonging
You have bathed and clothed us
Given us shelter when no-one was willing to take us in
You have given us peace, hope and change in many
To me and those before me..
    To those children you lost
    Lost to Aids, wars;
    For your children in.,
    Lybia, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Congo
    From Cairo to Jo’burg
    Shhhhhh
    Thula Nana Thula

    When I think of Africa
    The amazing body structure
Complementing everything you can expect in woman
    From the eyes....
    The sights, the lights
    The mesmerising beauty,
    The Mountains;, Zanzibar
Mt Kilimanjaro, The rift Valley, Cape Coast
    The captivating sunrise and sunset,
    Kruger National Park, Okavango delta
    Victoria falls
    Enjoyed by many,
By me and those before me,
    Those ears......
    The breath taking, lightning&thunder
    You are Full of life and vibrant;
The whistling birds and the safari
    Yankari National Park
    Serengeti National Park
    The pregnant clouds, awaiting rain
Awaiting....after a long period of dryness
May I just defy gravity and be blown away?
    Never to come back?
    Forever captivated by your beauty,
Forever captivated by your love for me,
    Both natural and man made..
    Me and those before me,

    I speak words of hope
    I speak words of change
    I say Africa we can
Love , stability, engraved and implanted
    Within us...
There is so much to see
There is so much to take notice
    Lose focus not amidst challenges
Strive, press on for our mother land
And still we say, admist all the pain thulaa
    Thula mama thula...
    Me,and those before me..Shhhh...

All a black man like me can do is bow down and humbly admit when he hears/reads the wisdom of the universes first creation.

Reminds of the song Common rapped about hip hop called "I used to love her" which is a classic.
