Hotep:

Thanks for such intelligent thinking. Please allow and older sage and griot to post a few more tidbits of knowledge from a womans perspective.

HAIKU #1
Thinking our love was

forever, I never thought

to plan for myself

HAIKU #2

No comfortable

place on earth for a thinking

African woman

HAIKU #3

Her eyes held wisdom

Of ancestors and triumph

Of our children's smiles

HAIKU #4

So high, I grab stars

Flinging them, they boomerang

offering halos

Not Natural

now WE are dancing

to the words instead of the

music. GOD help us!

Not Natural 2

When we dance to the

Words instead of the music

We have become them

Lock!

My naps embrace, they

Honor Creation, and are

keys to pyramids

Blues

This space in my mind

I wallow unconsciously

my penance not paid

JEWEL

He used to wear me

Like a diamond, but now

He just wears me out
