Looking at you is like looking at some kind of strange aberration
For when my eyes rest on you I somehow see my own reflection
Never met someone who's mental function is identical to my own
Who understands my inner working as if they've always been around
Whose life's chronicle inversely correlates almost parallel to my story
How could someone be so symmetrical with me without joint history
But even as I mediate on our similarity I truly respect our differences
For where I am imperfect your strengths continue to run interference
Pushing me to be all I can be without relishing in any inherent lack
One of the ones who are able to see luxury even in the poorest shack
Who has enough of an opinion to seduce you to their point of view
But intelligent enough to know when it time to rethink and review
Amazement at the totality of you is an uttermost understatement
For I truly treasure and extremely enjoy our evolving involvement
