She stands by the sink barefoot,
staring into a mirror reflection carrying more than the shape of her perfection
but the silhouette of the seed that soaks in the nutrients,
from her veins, the fruit of her womb,
the child that will overcome to her exact beings,
inheriting, her every breath, whim, weakness
and the essence destroying poison flowing in her veins,
that the small piece of the universe that resides within her
might one day become something greater then the universe itself,
or crumble under the weight of being born into the trap of addiction
dim pale lights fleeting through the swaying curtain
by the window with the broken glass
a room with trapped dreams
where souls escape bodies for momentary pleasure,
but get lost within the moans and wails of the house
never to return. where death is a sweat release
because life's just become to much hassle
She stands infront of this broken mirror,
grief chipping tha paint on the walls,
infront of a sink, soiled with the residue of
stolen life, slight smell of insanity mixed with
a sliver of hatred and poverty. or maybe
deprivation,
..destitution,
.........hunger,
Poverty................
Whichever the scents
She stands infront of this mirror hungry for life
infront of a sink draining her conscience
she stands, beside a wall of choice,
because the window of opportunities faded
more like shattered into jagged pieces, cutting the betters
of hopes and dreams, no deliverance
she stands infront of the sink,
starving for a thrill, bearing the face of tomorrow in the
warmth of her womb
She splashes her face with the cold running water
and makes her way back into the bedroom
where legs will fly, backs will hunch
complete strangers caress intimacy, secrecy,
passing on potentially more then ecstasy but
a curse that will continue to take .....possibly to epidemic heights
but heat will overcome the fear,
and the common sense will drown in passion
and hopefully another
thrill will be satisfied till next time,
.......................Hopefully
