IS THE ROLE OF AN ACTOR ANY DIFFERENT FROM THE ROLE WE
PLAY IN OUR DAILY LIVES?

IN THE FORUM FOR DISCUSSIONS ON ENTERTAINMENT
WE DISCUSSED OUR FEELINGS ON THE SUBJECT OF SAMUEL
JACKSON AND HIS REMARKS ON RAPPERS WHO SIDE SWIPE
ACTORS IN THEIR CRAFT

WELL WHEN WE COMPETE FOR JOB OPENINGS

IS OUR BEHAVIOR ANY DIFFERENT?

COMPETITION IS FIERCE AND EVERYONE IS SIMPLY LOOKING
TO GET WHERE THEY FIT IN IRREGARDLESS TO HIS OR HER
TRUE QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION :)

HMMM SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT :D

da competition is wide we fuss fight and cheat to get the spot
so many use their body the man hood to get what they want
no our daily lives ain't no better to the fact of a actor or rapper
the sin of dis world make us go round
yet the mighty Father above knows all
see i feel whats for me is for me and nobody can steal it away
u have a point here !!

Samuel Jackson has been around long enough to know that the film industry has nothing to do with acting. It's about marketability, world-wide distribution, and video/dvd sales...Period.
He is one of the "Chosen" ones based on his popularity not his ability to express the "craft" of acting. He is in a position to grand stand and I think that is what he did in making that statement. Nice topic PD.
