That is good and important but Chicago is a place where action is needed.
As schools are being closed and ares regentrified, there needs to be a parents movement of block by block, just as the government has a census, we for our own Chicago take Back the black community census.
At each and every church gathering and block association, type and copy a simple questionaire askling parents, what are the 5 major hells they see thier young ones facing in the community, then take the combined by district , from block association to block association and church to church, have some young people, good andexcelling at math, coalesce a compoasite average of the givances and have a a cintingency of at least 100 take the list to the lowest local official, and then move up the chain of command.

As regards to the immediate issue, of the violence it would be good for them to get in contact with the NOI, also 100 Black officers Who Care, Mark Claxton, and any similar organizations in Chicago and any local Afrocentric organizations, and find strong Black men to plan to have a community patrol, well organized and legally equipped!
