Sister Fine ... i've tarried on / at the altar

When i was a young woman, pregnant with my Daughter matter of fact, i was at the altar.

Beseeching God and My Ancestors for my most heartfelt hopes ... and to be honest ... i've not done too bad.

Now ... i don't know if it was the tarry'n on da altar ... or the cuss'n and drink'n i did ... :drink:

it kooda been any of them thangz ... or sump'n in da middle ... i don't know ... :research:

but i'd not change any one ... for fear that i'd change right now ... gett'n to talk you ...

why you mad at folk that tarry? ... let 'em tarry ... it can be a beautiful experience

have you ever tarried ... ?? ... if you don't wanna ... you don't gotta

i aint tarried at da altar in many a year ... but ... it didn't kill me

i don't know anyone it has killed ... do you?
