What’s up Family?
Many of you know me. Those that don’t, I’m Paula Edwards, nice to meet you. Those that do, MUAH!
I’m emailing to invite you all to The Peoples Lounge, an online community, similar to MySpace, but with “special” perks for the African American literary industry.
LIKE MySpace, everyone can sign up for their personal Lounge, upload videos/audio/photos, create blogs, add friends and communicate with the friends of their friends at www.ThePeoplesLounge.com absolutely FREE.
But UNLIKE MySpace, The Peoples Lounge offers something more to the African American literary community…The Urban Book Lounge.
From the home page of www.ThePeoplesLounge.com, people can click on the “Books” link for the link to The Urban Book Lounge, OR, they can simply visit www.TheUrbanBookLounge.com to be taken to a world of AA literature, featured authors, poets, aspiring writers, book clubs, and book stores, chat discussions, find literary tips and resources, book reviews, interviews, and more!
We’ve worked hard to give our literary loungers Quality, Professionalism, and most importantly, EXPOSURE. Visit www.TheUrbanBookLounge.com today and see for yourselves! Also, all content added to The Peoples Lounge and The Urban Book Lounge will be added to most major search engines.
Each month, The Urban Book Lounge will be updated with new content. We encourage every author, poet, aspiring writer, independent publisher/agent, book store, and book club to jump on board now as we anticipate this thing to be huge! Keep in mind MySpace started with one member: Tom.
For a limited time, all UBL exposure is FREE EXPOSURE! But you must be a Peoples Lounge member to get it. Beginning January 1, 2008, compatible advertising rates for UBL will apply, while all Lounges at the Peoples Lounge will remain free for everyone…ALWAYS!
Just released a new book? Looking for more exposure on older ones? Looking to break into the literary industry? Looking for new books to read and discuss? Looking for book stores? Other African American literary sites? The Urban Book Lounge is the place to be! And why not sign up for your FREE Lounge while you’re there! Oh, and when you do, don’t forget to add me as a Friend!
Got questions, advice, suggestions, opinions, comments, or whatever? Don’t see your book(s), favorite links listed? Hit me up and let me know. I mean, I’m good all by myself, but you, you make me better…or however that song goes.
www.ThePeoplesLounge.com and www.TheUrbanBookLounge.com baby! Let’s go…
