Black Poetry : A Tribute To Fathers: He is....Father

Sorry for the delay, E!

However, this piece is AWESOME! Truly a lyrical monument!

My favorite part:
a monumental influence
to the innocence of youth
a consonant pillar of masculinity
without a heavy hand as proof
if you had to measure A Man
in all He say or do
it is in the path He chooses to follow
it is the fruits of his wealthy spirit
that makes him so unique

YOU BETTA SPEAK!

*Thank u Queen for your flow, each Father is unique in their own way. Some give more, others less but if they are in the life of their child they ARE an INFLUENCE. The influence can be negative or positive...the choice is in the character of the MAN.

I'm speaking from experience.

*Thank you UnknownPoet, I appreciate you responding. My Father wasn't a perfect man, but he was there to instill in me everything I needed to be the woman I am today.

*Hey Hodee, so good to see you. Your most welcome, it is the least I can do for all the wonderful Fathers, it is a tribute most deserved.

*Thanx Jr, I too..love to see the interaction between a Father and child, it is a heartwarming experience. It brings a sentimental smile...everytime.

*Thanx 4ever, I'm very pleased you enjoyed the flow. Much love backatcha!

*Cherryblossom,

No apologies necessary, Sis. I appreciate your response whenever you hit me...thank u!

*I very much appreciate your read & response Watz, yes they are unsung,
they deserve the recognition every day.

I can never know what it's like to be or think as a man. However, watching my Father growing up I retained so much visual information about how a man should and shouldn't behave.
How a woman should and should not be treated and of course the inside info on men was invaluable....lol.
Those lessons were instrumental in my growth as a woman and my choice in a man.

If some Daddys knew that importance, they would be in their child's life every step of the way....it is so necessary for the very stability, growth and survival of the child.

epiphany:heart:

sorry for my tardiness

wonderful enlightenment into the role of a father...and the effect he has on those looking up to him; wife, daughter, son...and those extended ones who see him as an example of what they're missing. WONDERFUL JOB YOU DID HERE.

THANK YOU.

your current is strong...your flow is tight

the river floweth.
