To the Heart of My Heart Beating Faster than Ever, Do I Speak Through the Darkness of My Mind:

As you desire the love and affection of this Woman from the land of souls damned and blessed; know that her ability to love you (just as yours to love her) despite her joys, is just that, an ability.

And like faith without works is dead; so too an ability neglected and unfed. To love until she loves you back, or 'til desire turns pale and begins to relax. Love is only as strong as your Willingness to hold on!

To persevere is to maintain as knowledge is to know. And since the knowing comes by neither the pen nor speech—and since the Heart knows only what We feel and think—to know love is to understand when best to let go.

Take a breather if she moves too fast. You can't properly glow until you outgrow your adolescent past. Love yourself and be the Person who loves you most; for, though you desire love and affection—and, by some miracle, let Us say your accepted....

A sustained rejection will undoubtedly lesson loves blow. Salaam!

Yes, the heart knows only what we feel and think. We hope that a loved one knows the same thing our heart does, but that is not always the case. Posed on point.

    Rhymebad,
Negative critique such as this is simply not acceptable. Although upon closer inspection of this piece you'll find that it does rhyme in places, not all poetry rhymes. For example, Free Verse, does not necessarily rhyme. Do refrain from responding to your fellow poets' work in this manner in the future, but please feel free to give props to the poetry here that you do enjoy. Thank you.
