    I was raised a warrior
    My blood flows in
    many rivers

    The African simmers within
    In search of the beginning
    Trapped in a foreign land
    No vessel to release me

    My heart travels for me
    As I repeat the stories
That was past down to me
    Adding my own history
    Of her-story
That is a part of me
That is a part of US

Who am I a African Queen
    Fighting in a clear tone
The King who stands beside me
Is the target of the western greed
As they aim there weapon so bold
And snatch the children to be sold
They take what is left of the Queen
    And disrespect her royalty
    The fairness
    that grace my skin
Are the scars of the beginning
    A child of Africa taken
    The Foreigner seed raped her
    Demean her Warrior
    Demean Her King
Sold the child without a blink

How can one be so vicious
    to treat people so maliciously

    What has happen
    cannot be undone

The soul survive: the cruelty done
A child now nest in the womb
They survive, because I am here now
    Royal blood flow through me
    So deep are the wounds
    I still feel them

    The ones before me
    You will be remember
    From the sky above
    They Smile upon the survivor
    Knowing that the life
    that was taken away
    Will see a victory

    I was raise a warrior
    A fighter a survivor

    The Cherokee stir within
    Whispers on the airstreams
As I listen to the breeze talk
I read the signs as I walk
    I repeat the stories
That was past down to me
    Adding my own history
    Of her-story
That is a part of me
That is a part of US

    Who am I a Cherokee War-Woman
    My Chief and family
    Who stands beside me
Is the target of the western greed
    100 men, women and children
    All lay dead,
    Massacred, raped,
    Tortured, and scalped
No more will they see the moon rise
Or catch the smile of the sun fire
It was there intention to destroy us all
To genocide the nation of the warriors
Yet in the womb a child in the nest
    Did survive the masseur

What has happen cannot be undone
The soul survive the cruelty done

    Warrior blood flow through me
    My heart is heavy
    The wounds so deep
How can people be so cruel
    To kill,
    Just kill,
    To kill

    Yet
Some did survive, because I am here now

    The ones before me
    You will be remember
Glancing on Us from the stars
    They Smile upon the survivor
    Knowing that the life
    that was taken away
    Will see a victory

    I was raise a warrior
    My blood flows in
    many rivers
    The survival of my people
Comes from the steps of my ancestors

I no longer see with my eyes
    They sometime deceive me
I got to go with my instinct
    As my ancestor before me
    I am scare somewhat afraid
Yet this is the road I must travel
Because it is not about me

    it is about
    The survival of my people

    The one's who are here
    The one's not yet born

    Ashe, Emenv, Amen

Wow, I am really feeling this one. The feeling you get when the ancestors are calling to you, and you hear them in your heart and soul. Very deep scribe.
