I got up this morning, cleaned myself up,
put on my sundress and dyed my hair
red to symbolize the blood of my ancestors.
I then lefted home, walked from Lousiana to
washington. And I went to the black house
right next to the white house. In my hand
was a written petition, and it stated...

    To my african american brother:

    I need
    a strong black man
who can call me sista and
    unite with my african soul.
    Together we can paint the
wind gold and let the mysterious
    quality of our black magic~unfold.
We can talk about love and move
air with our algebraic language or
walk the black sea and allow the
majestic water to slip through our
    feet,ascend to our vital principle
    and renew natural affinity. This
    water can embellish our black
love and give us a revitalized
    sense of identity.

    I need
    a strong black man
    to come inside
    of me,
    conjoin
    flesh
    with
    my
    flesh.
    We can constitute a black
rhythm of love and watch it
    beautifully transgress.Instead
of inflicting our people let us
commit black on black crime of
    love,and give reverence by respecting
and honoring one another. I will no longer
be your ***** or whore, I wanna be your
    queen,a contribution to your dreams.
My brother, can I be your back bone,
the spinal column or the verterbral spine
that supports your back? I can use my
fingertips to lock your dreads and scratch
your pain when this itching world attacks.

    Let
    us
    get freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!
    And
    unite
    consciousness and spirtuality.
    Let
    us
    enhance power and pride,
and become and influence for others
by using our inner strength and creativity.
come and create a musical love with me.
You and I can exchange thoughts over
beats and tell others to take heed. We
can make a thousand rhymes and formulate
a concept thats fabolous and make it hard
for them to breathe. Cuz at this moment my
spiritual entity petitions for the sounds of a
black harmonious symphony. I need this black
love, I yearn this black love. I need it for
every minute and every hour. I need it so
bad, like the brother marvin," make me wanna holler"
    My brother
    My brother,
    call me sista
and unite with my african soul.

    Sincerely,
    Sherlita

As it was place'd on the table
the Brother's vow this solemn supplication
a decorated liberity of united way to thy sistas
and allow inner beings to touch
as it carry us into the waves unify
our full structure mentally & spiriturally
embracing the black pride of power we pose.
