    Somewhere
    In a world laced
    In fantastic
    Hues of vivid colors
    Brushed across a landscape
    Of ancient mountain peaks
    That bite the sky
    With stoic silvery white
    Teeth
    Meshed with
    Historic trees
    Topped with
    Vibrant green leaves
    1 man stood alone
    Against a backdrop
    Of dark crimson skies
    Framed by bleeding clouds
    Mirrored within the
    Deep stare of
    His charcoal eyes
    That watched as
    His home
    Burned
    His wife
    Died
    His little girl
    Cried
    “Daddy where has mommy gone”
    With tiny hands
    Beneath her
    Silver stained eyes
    Wide as the sea
    With a slow
    Bend of his knees
    He lifted her up
“Mommy’s gone to heaven, to watch over U and Me”
    And started
    Down the rust colored
    Dirt road
    Under his blacken feet
    As crosses flamed
    And the Devil
    Laughed
    With Glee...

Wow, very vivid imagery...I liked this...and yes, it seems ancient...in time.
