    I brought him the sun
    On the rise of morning,
But I couldn't make it shine when
    He was mourning.

    I brought him the coolness
    Of a spring breeze,
But I couldn't hold back her winds
    Nor bring him ease.

    When I realized that I couldn't,
It was then that I had to concur,
That there was nothing I could do...
To help him get beyond her.

When I brought him the sun,
She was in the beginning of it's rise.
When I brought him that spring breeze,
She was the warmth of summer across his skies.

    Oh yes,
    Of course she is dead,
But his Queen still reigns with
Her love in his heart and her thoughts in his head.

    With her scepter
She has caused me to falter.
It was only after she opened my eyes,
    That I finally realized,

    That a residue of death
    Can be more powerful...
    Than life itself.

To have a death be the most important thought in life, is to in a way, be already dead yourself. This was so emotively brought, I could feel the sadness and despair here. Not a true story for you I hope.

    Thank you poets.

No my sistah, it was not a true story for me. I just happen to love writing stories in a poetic manner sometimes. :shades: :geek:

i love the way you brought this...
when a poet writes it do not have
to be always about them i so feel that
because i to just love to write
    and do it myself
    Peace
